2026 has already been a year of major moves and “Epic” mergers for Weed Man. As we pursue our goal of becoming a 1-billion-dollar company, this year’s first quarter represents big steps towards this goal. Here is a breakdown of Weed Man’s mergers, acquisitions, and expansions so far in 2026. As we published earlier this year, two of Weed Man’s largest groups joined forces to form a super group, as we saw the merger of our Epic3 and LND groups. This brings the following territories together under one united banner: Epic3 Group: Austin, TX; Buda, TX; Dallas East, TX; Fort Worth South, TX; Oklahoma City, OK; Boise, ID; Ogden, UT; Salt Lake City, UT; Colorado Springs, CO; Denver, CO; Arvada, CO; Elgin, IL; Naperville, IL; Des Moines, IA; Iowa City, IA; South Kansas City, MO; North Kansas City, MO; Springfield, MO; Omaha, NE; Green Bay, WI; Janesville, WI; Madison, WI; Hartford, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Seattle, WA; NW Arkansas, AR LND Group: Arlington Heights, IL; Boston, MA; Cleveland, OH; Merrillville, IN; Racine, WI; Fort Wayne, IN In addition to this merger, the Epic3 Group has also acquired Aurora, IL, and Buffalo East, NY. In another landscape-shifting move, our ACE Group and Winchester Group have merged to form the new ACEWIN Group. From The Ace Group: Louisville, KY; Elizabethtown, KY; Myrtle Beach, SC; Bloomington, IN; Johnston City, TN From The Winchester Group: Winchester, VA; Richmond, VA; Annapolis, MD; Frederick, MD; Washington, D.C.; Birmingham, AL “Weed Man is a company built on systems, and having more space to apply those proven systems will create growth, while being able to provide homeowners with the absolute best option for their lawn care needs,” said David Waskey, Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed ACEWIN Group. “Internally, being able to become more efficient as a larger organization will translate to not only more opportunities for team-member growth, but also doing so at better margins, thus creating profit for the shareholders.” When sports fans picture Augusta, Georgia, they imagine the greenest grass imaginable. And while flawless turf has always been available to the pros, our new Augusta franchise ensures that Georgia’s homeowners also have access to pro-level turf. “This is such an exciting time. We finally get to bring our golf course quality fertilizer and high-end weed controls to the Augusta market, and so we're excited about that,” said Weed Man’s John Hotchkin. “We’re ready to bring lawn care unlike any other to the Augusta area!” We’re also incredibly excited that we have opened a new franchise in the Detroit and Downriver area for the first time ever. “At Weed Man, we have the best people applying the best products in the market, but we’re also going to give you a fair price. We understand how much hard work goes into earning a dollar, and we’re ready to deliver value for Detroiters,” said Weed Man’s Josh Fromme. “We now have two very strong operators in this area, and it’s wonderful to have an awesome neighbor like the Farmington Hills operation.” For the people of Boston, springtime means Celtic playoff basketball, the Red Sox’s home opener, and the start of their neighborhood’s competition (official or otherwise) for best lawn. And now that Weed Man has opened our first Boston franchise, things are really heating up. “I think the market's gonna be awesome here,” said Jack Stranges, Branch Manager of Weed Man Boston. “I think it's gonna give homeowners a great option for lawn care.” “People don't know who we are just yet. But we're happy to be here and introducing ourselves, because we know that we have such an excellent service. So it's just been really fun.” We’re proud to have so many multi-generational, family-run Weed Man franchises in both the US and Canada. And we’re thrilled to announce that the father and daughter team of Bob and Clarrissa Dillon is bringing Weed Man to Mansfield’s yards. They have already had great success running their Weed Man & Mosquito Hero operations in Columbus, and they are positively thrilled to expand into Mansfield, while setting up shop in the old Fackler Building on Home Road North. “We're really seeing a big demand for lawn care. The options in Mansfield were really just limited to smaller companies,” said Clarrissa. “Our guys are very well trained. And Weed Man has been around for over 50 years, and that just gives the people in Mansfield confidence in us.” Ben Thoennes and his team are thrilled to be expanding into Lubbock after great success operating Weed Man in the Amarillo area. He says they’re already getting a great response from Lubbock’s homeowners. “Lubbock has been a very underserved market for years. People have low expectations for lawn care and landscaping in general,” said Thoennes. “We've had quite a bit of bed control. There are a lot of new homes and townhouses popping up with rock backyards, some with rock in the front and back. We’re getting a lot of questions about overseeding with annual rye in shaded areas because Bermuda doesn't grow well under live oaks or heavy canopy.” Want to join all this excitement and become our next franchisee success story?
