Two of Weed Man’s Largest Groups Join Forces to Form a Super Group

For the past few years, “Weed Man for the Win” has been our national slogan.

This rallying cry has never been more fitting, now that our ACEGroup and Winchester Group have merged to form the new ACEWIN Group.

“I love family, and Weed Man has become part of my family. I could not be more excited about any opportunity to expand that family. I have met some of my closest friends within Weed Man, and the opportunity to continue doing so is exciting,” said David Waskey, Chief Executive Officer of the newly formed ACEWIN Group.

“I have also been continuously hearing from everyone on our team how excited they are at the opportunities this has created for them to advance both their professional and personal lives.”

The merger will bring the following territories under one united banner.

  • From The Ace Group: Louisville, KY; Elizabethtown, KY; Myrtle Beach, SC; Bloomington, IN; Johnston City, TN

  • From The Winchester Group: Winchester, VA; Richmond, VA; Annapolis, MD; Frederick, MD; Washington, D.C.; Birmingham, AL

Waskey predicts that the customer will be the real winners from this merger.

“Customers in all territories will begin to notice more available resources, such as longer office hours when they phone in and better quality control on their lawn’s results. We can now offer them more expertise from having the ability to promote or hire at a higher professional tier.”

Weed Man has over 270 franchises across the US and Canada. This gives the Weed Man network a unique blend of the resources and expertise of an international network, while offering the individual attention of a family-run business.

“Weed Man is a company built on systems, and having more space to apply those proven systems will create growth while being able to provide homeowners with the absolute best option for their lawn care needs,” said Waskey.

“Internally, being able to become more efficient as a larger organization will translate to not only more opportunities for team-member growth but also doing so at better margins, thus creating profit for the shareholders.”
