Giving Back to Make a Difference
Weed Man Madison, WI recently donated $60,000 to the Ronald McDonald House of Madison...and we couldn't be more proud! Co-owner of the local franchise, Andy Kurth, presented the check to Mary Donahue, Director of Development, during Weed Man's annual Christmas party.
Andy and his father and business partner, Terry Kurth, originally planned to donate $10,000 to help with the development of the house, however after Donahue polled Weed Man employees to see who all had stayed at, or knew someone who had stayed at the Ronald McDonald facilities (and seeing several hands raised), they generously decided to contribute an additional $50,000!
"It took me completely by surprise and the thing that's so amazing is this is the time at the end of this campaign that every gift matters," Donahue said.
