Career Background: I was a golf course superintendent for 15 years before deciding I wanted to invest in a Weed Man franchise. I’ve now been a Weed Man franchisee for over eight years!
Family: I am married to my wife, Angela Burns, and we have two children together.
Why Weed Man? I researched various lawn care franchises for over the course of a year and felt like Weed Man was the most proven system and would support me the best. During the discovery process, I was even able to speak with the CEO, Jennifer Lemcke, prior to purchasing my franchise.
What are you most proud of so far as a Weed Man franchisee? I’m most proud of being able to grow as quickly as we have. We’ve surpassed the one million dollar mark – a major milestone for our team. We’ve also won the “Super Service” award through Angie’s List the past two consecutive years.
What is the key to your success? My key to success has been following the Weed Man systems that have been put in place, along with seeking guidance from the sub- franchisors and fellow franchisees as well as corporate when needed. The Weed Man franchise offers a tremendous amount of support that has been extremely helpful every step of the way.
